Every month, The Mobile County District Attorney’s Office highlights one of its standout employees. This month we would like to introduce you to Linda Watson! Linda was born and raised on the Gulf Coast. She met the love of her life, Frederick Watson, when she was fifteen and they have been married for thirty-eight years! They have raised three beautiful and successful daughters Kinetra, Danielle, and Andreanna. Her goal each day is to try and make a positive impression on those she encounters. If she is not at the office you will find her spending time with her family.
Linda’s journey with MCDA began twenty-one years ago and she has held various positions within our office since then. She started off as a trial coordinator and is now the supervisor of our Check Enforcement Unit. Her role in the Check Unit is to help collect funds from individuals who have written worthless checks. She is the only employee in that unit and works day in and day out to ensure that victims receive the compensation they deserve. She is driven to come to work every day because of her passion for inspiring others to do the right thing. When asked what her favorite thing about working for our office was she replied,
“I have an opportunity each and every day to make a difference in people’s lives that I might not ever have a chance to meet. It brings me joy when victims receive a check from The MCDA Check Enforcement Unit on an outstanding debt owed to them, and knowing that I was able to help in the recovery of funds motivates me to work even harder for my next victim.”
Thank you, Linda, for your handwork and dedication to the success of this office! You are truly an asset to our office and inspire us all!
