STATE v. STEVEN MASON
Today the Mobile County Grand Jury has reported an indictment of one count of Capital Murder against Steven Mason for the death of Ke’Lei Morris on February 2, 2015.
The indictment reads as follows:
The Grand Jury of Mobile County charges that before the finding of this indictment, Steven Obrien Mason, whose name is otherwise unknown to the Grand Jury, and/or another participant
did intentionally cause the death of another person, to-wit: Ke’Lei Morris, by shooting her with a gun for pecuniary or other valuable consideration or pursuant to a contract for hire, to-wit: Steven Mason hired Adam Miller and/or paid Adam Miller US currency to kill Ke’Lei Morris, in violation of 13A-5-40(a)(7) of the Code of Alabama against the peace and dignity of the State of Alabama.
